Arium Supports Intel® Atom™ Z670
Company Press Release SOURCE: Arium Arium Announces Support for the latest Intel Atom Processor Z670 April 11, 2011 – Arium (Tustin, CA) today announced support for the new Intel® Atom™ processor Z670, formerly code-named “Oak Trail.” The new SoC device from Intel is supported by both the ECM-XDP3 and LX-1000 JTAG debuggers offered by Arium. Auto-discovery and full run-control functions are fully operational. The new processor will be in end user devices beginning next month. Over 35 innovative designs from companies including Evolve III*, Fujitsu Limited*, Lenovo*, Motion Computing*, Razer*, and Viliv* are based on the new technology and running a variety of operating systems. Purpose built for tablets, the platform offers increased battery life, enhanced performance especially around video, and several other new features. The series is also suited for a range of portable embedded designs such as mobile clinical assistants, ruggedized industrial tablets and portable point-of-sale systems. “Arium continues to track Intel's progress with our best-of-class hardware-assisted debuggers,” said Larry Traylor, Arium CEO. “Arium provides powerful tools for developers to get their job done effectively!"
