Welcome to ASSET InterTech, formally Arium!
Welcome to the new Arium. On July 9, 2013, Arium and ASSET InterTech announced that ASSET had acquired Arium and would – over time – merge Arium’s hardware-assisted software debug and trace tools into the ScanWorks platform for embedded instruments, making ScanWorks the most comprehensive and effective environment for software and hardware debug, validation and test. Designers can quickly debug software and then diagnose how it interacts with the hardware. Designs are certified faster and move into manufacturing sooner.
“We are very excited about joining forces with ASSET because we’re convinced that embedded instrumentation is a technology of the future and it is well on its way to becoming a necessity for designers,” said Larry Traylor, president of Arium. “Our tools have been deployed in design for the last 35 years, but much has changed during this time. The time has come to bring together our strengths in software debug and trace with the excellent hardware validation and test tools in ScanWorks. You, our users, constantly remind us that you need visibility into the interaction of hardware and software. Without tools to debug software and its interaction with hardware, new product development slows to a crawl. ScanWorks and Arium tools play distinct roles addressing these issues, but together they provide a level of observability not found anywhere else. Together we will be able to shorten development cycles so our users can begin generating revenue sooner.”
