American Arium
Launches SourcePoint™ 7.5.0.51 with Improved Target State Management
Latest Version of Flagship Debugger
Supports Intel® Active Management Technology
TUSTIN, CA, February 11,
2008 /Market Wire/ -- American Arium, an industry leader in
hardware-assisted development tools, today announced the release of
SourcePoint™ 7.5.0.51. The latest version of the company's flagship
debugger is designed to support those newer Intel processors that handle
power reset in a different manner than Intel processors have in the
past.
“We have modified the
way SourcePoint can operate when acquiring a target,” according to Larry
Traylor, Arium’s CEO. “The change has been made in response to the way
some targets with the latest Intel processors respond to reset
conditions.”
SourcePoint 7.5.0.51
works in conjunction with five Arium in-target probes: the ECM-50,
ECM-700, ECM-HDT, ECM-XDP, and ECM-XDP3, delivering reliable run
control, and depending on architecture, complex breakpoints with
execution trace. The combined debug solution gives the software and
firmware developer unsurpassed visibility to and development of code via
a series of intuitive screens and dialogs with numerous viewing and
customization options. SourcePoint operates in real time with all core
frequencies, supports the Intel® Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI),
and works with today's most popular compiler tool chains. It supports
industry-standard input file formats and includes a robust C-like
command language.
Arium’s SourcePoint
debugger is available with the purchase of an Arium in-target probe.
